Portrait of Collin
Packing for a race at night, illuminated by the last light on in the house.
Mechanical breakdowns on the way to the race call for quick repairs.
Collin about to jump in for a morning of work before the races. ||
My brother often takes odd jobs that allow him to make money while out on the water. Here he is about to climb into the harbor to clean the hulls of other competitors' boats before races.
Hull-Cleaning. Collin holding onto the dock with one arm, while cleaning the hull with the other. Often times he'd hold his breath and disappear under the boat to clean it.
Preparing two halyards for the race.
Collin feeding halyards through pulley systems, while secured to the mast with a harness.
